  2019 Dinners -- updated April 14, 2019

Due to bad weather or a lack of ramps, some dinners have been canceled or had date changes in the past. So please contact them if you are traveling a long distance.

61st Annual Polk County Ramp Tramp Festival, Greasy Creek, TN
April 26 - 27. Near Benton, Tennessee on Hwy. 30. After turning off U.S. Hwy 64 onto Hwy 30, Camp McCroy will be 2.5 miles on the right. Friday, 7 p.m., the festival kicks off with the Bluegrass and Beans night. Enjoy the Bluegrass and Gospel music while you consume a bowl of white beans, cornbread, and raw ramps. Saturday Spend the day enjoying Bluegrass & Gospel music and old-time fellowship while enjoying a meal of fried ramps in eggs, fried potatoes, streaked meat, white beans and cornbread. Local craftsman have handmade articles for sale. Also the famous "Ramp" hot dogs will be available. Crafts all day! Admission to events are free. All proceeds are used for the operation and the upkeep of Camp McCroy. See their website for all the details! 423-338-4503.

Newport, TN
